    8 August-16 December, 2011 workshops on development of assessment tools for 18 priority occupations will be held. Representatives from industry sector are actively participating in the process of development of assessment tools. Soon they will be awarded with certificates about recognizing them as independent assessors. Also they will be included in the registry for independent assessors in AVE, and when needed, will be involved to assessment of graduates. This activity is a step to introduction of national assessment and certification system.

    From 15 August till 4 November, 2011 with the support of international competency-based training consultant the workshop on development of modular curriculums and learning materials was held. Masters and teachers of relevant PVSs participated in this workshop. Result of the workshop will be modular curriculums for 18 priority occupations.

    On 6 June 2011 the training was launched using pilot modular curriculum for occupation "sewer". This training is piloted in the follwoing PVSs: PVS № 2, PVS 16, PVS 17, PVS 94, PVS 95, PVS 102, PVS 110. Groups of trainees comprise of the unemployed, recruited throught Employment Center.

Considerable aid in support and development of vocational education of the Kyrgyz Republic at a stage of transition to market attitudes is assisted by cooperation with foreign countries and international organizations.
- Within the framework of the project of the World Bank (1995 - 1998) nine model centers on the following directions: agriculture (VL № 1, Dzhalal Abad), car-care center (VL № 27, Bishkek and VL № 23.Chui- Tokmok), hotel service and tourism (VL № 91, Bishkek and VL № 14.Kara-Kol), the electrical engineer (technical training college № 100, Bishkek), electronics (VL № 93, Bishkek), polygraphy (the Republican center on preparation of the national staff, Bishkek), construction (VL № 5, Bishkek)., focused on introduction and distribution of foreign experience of modular training of adults with the usage of the modern equipment and training technologies, were created and now are operating.

- Since 2001 the Kyrgyz-Swiss project « the Project of agricultural and rural vocational training » (AVEP.) has been working. In 2001-2002 Helvetas realized the project on agricultural and rural vocational training (AVEP) firstly in 4 PVEs of the Naryn region. At the initial stage of the given Project development of the curriculum for three-year average vocational training of farmer business was realized, and also textbooks were worked out. In 2003-2005 AVEP distributed a field of activity on 7 agricultural PVEs of the Naryn region (PVEs № 15, 50, 26, 40, 30, 32 and 86) at full financing by agency on development Helvetas and on 1 agricultural PVE in Batken region (PVE № 8) at joint financing of Helvetas and GTZ. During 5-year term of realization of the project, Helvetas and GTZ together invested about 3, 4 million som to purchase basic agricultural instruments and posters for 8 PVSs.

- Joint work in cooperation with the German society of technical cooperation is being carried out. The project (1994 - 2005) « Support of vocational education of the Kyrgyz Republic in terms of transition to market attitudes » is completed. Partners: BHI - HRD Hamburg, Germany. The second phase of inter-regional GTZ project « Training and improvement of professional skills of in-service masters and teachers of special disciplines» (2003 - 2006) is realized. PVS has a GTZ license for distribution of a teaching material to all interested persons.

- Realization of GTZ project «Promotion of the vocational education focused on demand » starts.

- In 2002, International labour organization (ILO) introduced its program on training to entrepreneurial activity "Acquaintance with business” (AWB) in Kyrgyzstan. On the basis of primary achieved results, received by working group, it was solved to continue the program and PVE Management has issued the order to include ILO program « Acquaintance with business » curricula of technical training colleges and lyceums at a national level since September, 1 2004. ILO presented financing and regional trainers for carrying out further courses on training of teachers from the selected schools; ILO also financed the edition of materials in Russian.

- More than 10 years the Kyrgyz - Turkish female professional lyceum, created together with the Ministry of national education of Turkey, has been operating.

- Constant work with Asian Development Bank, the European Fund of Education, UNESCO, USAID, MERSICO, and PROON is conducted.
